Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing rankops.net, using the AI Score Checker, purchasing any RankOps service, booking a call, or engaging with Tyler Moncrieff or RankOps in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the site or services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client," "User," or "you") and Tyler Moncrieff, operating as RankOps, headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Services Provided

RankOps provides GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), AI search visibility, SEO strategy, website builds, landing pages, and related digital marketing services. Specific deliverables are defined in the service package purchased:

• Neighborhood Audit ($297) — AI visibility audit report delivered within 5 business days of purchase
• Neighborhood Truth Pass ($997) — 30-day GEO build including content, schema, and entity signals as scoped at purchase
• AI Rank Stack ($2,497) — 60-day full AI visibility system as described on the packages page
• Monthly Retainer (from $500/mo) — Ongoing GEO maintenance and content, terms confirmed separately at engagement
• Custom Projects — Governed by a separate Statement of Work agreed in writing

RankOps reserves the right to modify service scope, pricing, and availability at any time without prior notice to prospective clients. Existing paid engagements are honored at the agreed-upon scope.

Payment Terms

All payments are processed through Stripe. By completing a purchase, you authorize the charge to your payment method in the full amount displayed at checkout.

• One-time packages (Audit, Truth Pass, Rank Stack) are due in full at the time of purchase
• Monthly retainers are billed on a recurring basis on the same calendar day each month
• Custom project deposits (typically 50%) are due before work begins, with the remainder due on delivery
• Overdue balances on custom projects may be subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee

No Refund Policy

This policy exists because RankOps provides knowledge-based, time-intensive deliverables. Once Tyler Moncrieff or a RankOps collaborator has begun research, analysis, content creation, or technical implementation, that time cannot be recovered. We encourage you to review all package descriptions, ask questions before purchasing, and book a free call to confirm fit.

Chargebacks or payment disputes filed after services have been rendered will be vigorously contested with documentation of delivered work.

Intellectual Property

RankOps owns all work product until payment is received in full. Upon receipt of full payment, RankOps grants the Client a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the deliverables (content, pages, schema, reports) for their own business purposes.

• RankOps retains the right to display completed work in its portfolio and case studies unless the Client requests otherwise in writing
• The RankOps brand name, logo, system, methodologies, and all rankops.net website content remain the sole property of Tyler Moncrieff and may not be copied, reproduced, or repurposed without written consent
• The AI Score Checker tool, scoring methodology, GEO framework, and underlying systems are proprietary to RankOps
• Client agrees not to reverse-engineer, resell, or white-label any RankOps deliverable or system without explicit written agreement

Client Responsibilities

To receive maximum value from RankOps services, the Client agrees to:

• Provide accurate business information, URLs, and context when requested
• Respond to requests for feedback or approvals within 5 business days
• Grant necessary access (website CMS, Google Search Console, DNS) where required to implement deliverables
• Not interfere with or undo RankOps implementations without prior discussion

Delays caused by the Client's failure to respond or provide required materials may extend project timelines. RankOps is not responsible for missed deadlines resulting from Client non-responsiveness.

Results and Guarantees

Statistics and performance data cited on rankops.net represent general industry research and illustrative benchmarks. Your individual results will vary based on your market, competition, existing online presence, and the AI platforms' evolving algorithms. We are honest about this — and we believe our methods work — but we will not promise outcomes we cannot control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RankOps, Tyler Moncrieff, and any associated collaborators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of revenue, loss of business opportunity, or loss of data — arising out of or related to the use of our services or website, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

RankOps' total cumulative liability to any Client for any claim arising from a service engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by that Client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Confidentiality

RankOps treats Client business information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties except as required to deliver services (e.g., sharing site access with a collaborator under NDA). RankOps may reference Client business names and results for case studies and portfolio purposes unless the Client opts out in writing.

Website Use

You may use rankops.net for lawful purposes only. You agree not to scrape, copy, or reproduce site content for commercial purposes; attempt to access restricted systems or the AI Score Checker database; or use the site in any way that could damage RankOps' reputation or systems. RankOps reserves the right to block access to any user who violates these terms.

Termination

Either party may terminate a monthly retainer engagement with 30 days' written notice. RankOps may terminate an engagement immediately and without refund if the Client engages in fraudulent activity, chargebacks after services rendered, harassment of RankOps personnel, or material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, all outstanding balances become immediately due.

Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution via good-faith email negotiation at [email protected]. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against RankOps.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina for any matters not subject to arbitration.

Modifications to These Terms

RankOps reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the site or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any applicable Statement of Work, constitute the entire agreement between you and RankOps with respect to the subject matter herein, and supersede all prior understandings, representations, and agreements.
