Why does a normal website not get found any more?

Common questions
Do you build websites from scratch?
Yes. If you have no website, or one that search engines and AI assistants cannot read, the AI HQ Build is a complete new site: designed, written, and engineered from day one so Google can rank it and ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI can quote it. You own it outright, on your own domain.
Why not just use Wix, Squarespace or a template?
A template gives you pages. It does not give you the machine-readable signals that decide whether an AI engine can name your business: structured data describing what you do and where, answers written in the form an engine can quote, a consistent entity identity, and citation pages that answer the exact questions customers ask AI. A site can look finished and still be invisible to the systems people now ask for recommendations.
How long does it take?
For a new site, 14 days from the onboarding call to going live, with 30 days of monitoring after launch. Rebuilding the core of a site you already own is scoped on that same call, because it depends on what is already there. Search engines and AI assistants typically re-index new content within 30 to 60 days. Results vary by market and can never be guaranteed.
Do I own the website?
Yes, completely. It is deployed on your own domain and your own hosting, and everything built stays yours whether or not you continue with RankOps. There is no lock-in and nothing is held hostage.
What happens after the site is live?
After launch, you can move onto the monthly plan, which keeps publishing new content and tracks whether AI engines are actually naming you. A new site is a starting position, not a finished job, because visibility compounds only if something keeps building on it.
What are citation pages?
Citation pages are dedicated pages on your site, one for each money prompt: a question your customers ask AI where your business should be the answer, like who to call for your service in your area. We choose 5 to 10 of them with you, using your free AI Visibility Map and the questions your customers actually ask, then build one page per question that answers it directly, backs the answer with facts about your business, and carries FAQ schema. They give Google and AI assistants a clear page of yours to cite. Nobody can guarantee that an AI engine will cite a page.
What is the Powered by RankOps badge?
It is a small badge in your site's footer that shows your site was built by RankOps for Google and AI.
